Paul Broyles is a CLIR Postdoctoral Fellow in Data Curation for Medieval Studies at North Carolina State University. He serves as Technical Editor of the Piers Plowman Electronic Archive, and has worked for many years as a programmer for the Archive. He received his Ph.D. in English from the University of Virginia in 2014. Paul’s work in medieval studies and digital humanities focuses on topics including text encoding and the virtual representation of physical books, medieval romance, the history of geographic thought, literary translation and transmission, and electronic literature.
